Classroom Guidelines
1. Be on time (in your seat before the bell rings).
2. Come prepared to learn…this
includes bringing to class everyday
daily agenda, covered textbook, 3-ring binder with 2 notebooks,
sharpened
pencil / pen, completed homework
3. Respect school property,
each other, and others right to learn (as well as your own).
4. Ask questions and participate.
5. Observe and uphold all school and district rules.
6. Stay seated until dismissed by the teacher.
Classroom Policies
1. Students who are late to class will meet with
the teacher before or after school.
2. Cheating results in a zero (0) for that
test or assignment. This includes copying and plagiarizing.
3. Assignments- must be neat and readable.
- At the top of all assignments should be your first
and last name, date, and class period.
- It will not be accepted otherwise.
4. All Class Assignments must be turned in on time for full credit.
- Late assignments are only allowed up to
two days after the due date for half credit.
5. Make-Up Work- Each student is responsible for getting missed assignments!
- Utilize your lab partner, classmate, agenda, web site, and teacher.
- Any assignments given before your absence must be turned in immediately
on return to
school to receive full credit. Tests must be taken within 2 days.
- For work assigned during
your absence you will receive the same number of days that the
rest of the class received to complete your work

Textbooks: covered at all times with NO handouts kept in them.
Consequences
Students
who follow these guidelines and policies will have a successful experience in Earth Science. Failure to follow these will result in:
1. Student-Teacher Conference.
2. Time spent after class or Detention- before
or after school with teacher.
3. Parent Contacted.
4. Referral to the Office.
